The hot shop facility is 3200sq feet, with a 220 pound Electric Glass Furnace; Five Glory Holes ( three are12 inch diameter x 24 inches deep, and 18 inch diameter x 28 inch deep and 8 inch x 10 deep), Five Annealers (two are 36 inches x54inches long x24 inches deep and three are 38inches wide x 28 inches long x 12inches deep). For kiln formed glass there are three slumping kiln and three large casting ovens.

The cold shop is fully equipped with 3 grinding wheels, sommer and moca polishing wheel, Stienart polishing and cutting lathe, and 14 inch Target portasaw.

In addition, there is a fully equipped woodshop and plaster area for mold making. JU has one of the only glass facilities in the southeast.
